Hi,
Hoping to bring the linewrap saga to a good end, here is my latest patch for the README. Lines are wrapped on column 80, meaning there are at most 79 characters of text on one line.
I don't seems so. Please, erad DOCS/tech/cvs-howto, teh section about cosmetics changes thay may be allowed in docs, but in this case your mandatory mad line re-wrapping is bad, has no any advantages but makes diff big, and sometimes makes lines longer than 79. Please tell me at least one reason why to rewrap lines every time!
The FFmpeg project provides libavcodec, a very portable MPEG4/DivX codec with -excellent speed and quality. It is the preferred codec of MPlayer for playing -mpeg4 and divx video. You have to get libavcodec directly from the FFmpeg CVS -server. Use the following commands in a suitable directory outside the MPlayer -source directory: +excellent speed and quality. It is the preferred MPEG4/DivX codec of MPlayer and +used to be included in the MPlayer CVS tree. This is no longer the case and you +have to get libavcodec directly from the FFmpeg CVS server.

This is no longer the case and you maybe problems with your 1st grade math or dunno, but unless you change (ie. insert/remove words, lower/upper case don't count to change for me!) please don't rewrap text.
