OVH and vlc had arguments in public, hetzner (virus issue & 50euro/mo, also public) kierans box is too weak/old to host all our services but works fine for trac atm against nexcess / futurehosting.com i receved a private argument from a rtmpdump developer, as they are US based and hosting rtmpdump in the US is expected by them to be problematic. That leaves DreamHack and the Telepoint/MediaHub offer. I thus accept these 2 offers Thanks alot ! [PATCH] Fix incomplete loading of playlists of certain sizes

Hi, the bug this patches fixes appears when you have playlist files of a size larger than the buffer size used by playtreeparser.c but smaller than the buffer size used by stream.c. What happens is that the whole playlist file is read by stream.c in and put in the stream buffer by stream_fill_buffer() and stream->eof is set to true. However, playtreeparser.c only fills it's own buffer and then upon seeing stream->eof being true, treats the playlist as ended even tho the stream buffer still contains data. My solution is not to use stream->eof at all but instead react to stream_read() returning == 0 as a marker for when the stream has ended Regards, Joel Klinghed

Question about Blue skin author/license

Hello, I asked in the IRC channel but did not have much success so might as well ask in the mailing list which might have different readers. Does anyone have an up to date contact information of Franciszek Wilamowski "Xenomorph"? I tried xenomorph(a)irc.pl and higgs(a)hoth.amu.edu.pl but they no longer work. I'm asking because recently MPlayer and the default skin got reintroduced into Debian but his skin does not contain license information. It seems in the past (around 2006) someone asked as shown here: http://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/main/m/mplayer-blue/mplaye… and was told that it was under the BSD-3 license. When the package got re-introduced ftp-master asked to include a copy of said email in the package but I don't have it. I contacted the previous maintainers to see if they have it but in theory it would be simpler if he added it in the tarball in v1.11. To accomplish this I would need to contact him but this has proven quite difficult. Thanks for any help, Miguel

Website translation status

Hi After fixing the mirrors list in the homepage, I checked also the localized version to see if I could update them too. They are totally outdated, with the latest news ranging from 2010 (Hungarian) to 2008. Download pages are outdated too (missing the latest release, pointing to old skins, ...). We may find a way to automatically update the links, and maybe to post English news also on the translated pages, but does it worth the effort? Is anybody still willing to take care of the translated web pages? Else I think we should just drop them, or at least clearly mark them as outdated. Ciao, Roberto
