I would have added it when i wrote eq, but I thought it would be annoying since if you accidentally hit they key and moved saturation to a nonzero value, playback would suddenly become a lot slower. IMHO the osd should show numbers instead of (or at least in addition to) the stupid bars.

Someday I'd like to see a really advanced tool based on mplayer, with not just scripted insertion and removal of filters, but also support for running multiple decoders concurrently and a whole tree of filters, some of which could take multiple inputs and other which could give multiple outputs. So basically it'd be a whole script-driven amature (or professional :) digital filmmaking system. Of course I don't see that happening anytime soon. Rich
