Fwd: mplayer hangs during rtsp play from BBC
the following msg was sent to me though the -owner redirection... ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: jim <jim@meyerpottery.com> Date: May 8, 2006 3:25 PM Subject: mplayer hangs during rtsp play from BBC To: mplayer-advusers-owner@mplayerhq.hu Starting Tuesday this week my mplayer hangs after 3 to 15 minutes of an rtsp stream play or dump from BBC7. I have re-compiled from CVS with the same results. These streams play in Helix player without pause. The only thing I know that changed on Tuesday is a new ISP(nts-online) and dsl modem (netopia 3341B). If I set cache to 99% the stream is loaded into cache but the decaudio still hangs. Here is how my screen is left with -v -v options: decaudio: minlen=65536 maxlen=262144 declen=65536 (max=257536) decaudio: decoding 65536 bytes, max: 257536 (192000) decaudio: declen=65536 out=65536 (max 262144) A: 895.0 (14:54.9) of 2222.0 (37:02.0) 96.8% 0% decaudio: minlen=65536 maxlen=262144 declen=65536 (max=257536) decaudio: decoding 65536 bytes, max: 257536 (192000) decaudio: declen=65536 out=65536 (max 262144) A: 895.4 (14:55.3) of 2222.0 (37:02.0) 96.8% 0% decaudio: minlen=65536 maxlen=262144 declen=65536 (max=257536) decaudio: decoding 65536 bytes, max: 257536 (192000) Then after control c: MPlayer interrupted by signal 2 in module: decode_audio *** uninit(0x6CA) MPlayer interrupted by signal 2 in module: enable_cache *** uninit(0xC8) [[[uninit getch2]]] Uninit audio filters... I have been recording from BBC since Dec 05 with no problems. Jim -- I am disillusioned enough to know that no man's opinion on any subject is worth a damn unless backed up with enough genuine information to make him really know what he's talking about. -- H.
