Normalization of audio
I was wondering what the standard procedure for normalizing the audio when encoding with mencoder is. When ripping a DVD, I usually keep the AC3 stream intact, but without normalizing the audio, you end up with the sound effects being too loud compared with speech (or the speech is too soft, whichever way you want to view it...) Anyone got any suggestions? mithrandi
