I'm having trouble going full screen in gmplayer, but oddly enough, not in mplayer. gmplayer will try to full screen, appearing in the upper left, then lower right, then becoming a window again. mplayer will go into fullscreen without a problem. Here's what happens in verbose logging: A: -0.0 V: 0.0 A-V: -0.018 ct: 0.000 1/ 1 0% 0% 0.0% 0 0 0%^Mcmd: 5008 [x11] NET style stay on top ( layer 1 ). Using state _NET_WM_STATE_STAYS_ON_TOP. I'm running FreeBSD STABLE from 9/20, aka 4.9-PRERELEASE #7. I've installed mplayer 0.92 from ports; and got the same error with 1.0b3 from source. I've got nVidia Ti4600 (hoping that's not part of the problem) with the latest fbsd drivers (4365). I'm running dual head with two devices instead of TwinView, as that seemed to work better. xineramascreen is set to 1. I'm running KDE 3.1.4. Everything else: XFree: 4.3.0.1 GCC: 2.95.4 ld: 2.12.1 as: 2.12.1 gtk: 2.2.4 glib: 2.2.3 If anyone needs anymore information, please ask. John
