http://physicsstream.ucsd.edu/review/differentiation/derivative.mov there is an rtsp link inside that file, along with what appears to be a gif image. quicktime displays the video in a 'frame' type thing... mplayer does not find the rtsp link, likewise vlc. -compn

ogg vorbis audio in avi files

Hi, I have a file that is said to have "ogg" audio (which is probably vorbis) embedded in an avi that can't be played by mplayer (also tried xine and vlc, same thing) http://www.vebfilm.net/video/DLD-Teaser_384x216_(xvid+ogg).avi It says: Kann Codec für Audioformat 0x6771 nicht finden! [BUG] ao_alsa changes samplerate after volume change

Hi! When I play the following sample http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/samples/mov/qtaudio/surge-2-32-B-in32.mov I get a most peculiar effect: If I press 9/0 to change the volume the sample is suddenly played at what appears to be double speed. The problem goes away if I pass -ao oss on the command line. mplayer -v output below. Clemens, could you look into this?
