no subtitles in .mkv

Hi, I just tested a .mkv file, but i didnt get any subtitles although mplayer recognized them. Also it looks like that the lang code for the audio is wrong. GMPlayer Fullscreen Issue

I'm having trouble going full screen in gmplayer, but oddly enough, not in mplayer. gmplayer will try to full screen, appearing in the upper left, then lower right, then becoming a window again. mplayer will go into fullscreen without a problem. I've got nVidia Ti4600 (hoping that's not part of the problem) with the latest fbsd drivers (4365). I'm running dual head with two devices instead of TwinView, as that seemed to work better. xineramascreen is set to 1. I'm running KDE 3.1.4. Everything else: XFree: 4.3.0.1 GCC: 2.95.4 ld: 2.12.1 as: 2.12.1 gtk: 2.2.4 glib: 2.2.3 If anyone needs anymore information, please ask. John

compilation failure

Howdy, Mplayer (actually libavcodec in ffmpeg) fails to compile on an apple g5. I have verified this on both the pre2 sources and the cvs sources. ).92 sources however compile fine. CFLAGS is unset of course. [BUG] memleak bug in subreader/subsplitter

I've found a subtitle, which - when gets to the 3614.9th second - makes MPlayer eat all the available memory until the OOM killer takes action. The subtitle works with all movies. VIA H/W Mpeg 2 Decoder in EPIA-M.

Does anyone use an EPIA-M 10000 Mini-ITX based box? This has an Integrated Hardware MPEG 2 Decoder on board which waits to be used! There is a libddmpeg.so driver file that corresponds to this hardware. My question is: Can I use this driver provided by VIA in Mplayer to have this H/W Mpeg2 Decoder used for mplayer playback? BTW, I tried to contact VIA to acquire the source code of their graphics drivers including the H/W Mpeg2 driver, but unfortunately there is no answer from them for a long time. BUG: Mplayer v1.0pre2 or CVS + OSS + mms:// resources = no sound

I'm using OSS (Purchased drivers) with a Terratec EWSMT88 sound card. Recently I've upgraded to mplayer v1.0pre2... I was trying to listen to my local radio station www.cadenaser.com, but did not work at all. After a normal connect to the mms:// resource it used to make a pop noise and then silence. Sometimes mplayer v1.0pre2 worked well but most of the times it did the pop sound and... Silence. When playing xvid or divx videos the sound played quite well, after testing with a xvid file (MP3 sound) I did another try to the mms:// link with bad luck. :( Then I installed the CVS version (Post v1.0?), just the same behaviour, the pop sound, after loading the mms:// link, and silence. After all this compiling I've downgraded to Mplayer v0.92 and MAGIC it works just like everytime it did... Perfect. Maybe something is wrong with the DLL stuff in Mplayer v1.0? PD: Thanks to the Mplayer team for their excellent work.
