I've successfully compiled: x264 codec, libavcodec with x264 support enabled, mplayer (x264 enabled) I still cannot to convert video # mencoder -ovc help MEncoder SVN-r29370-4.3.3 (C) 2000-2009 MPlayer Team Available codecs: copy - frame copy, without re-encoding. Doesn't work with filters. frameno - special audio-only file for 3-pass encoding, see DOCS. raw - uncompressed video. Thank you. It helps. Another weird problem - the produced x264 video cannot be played by flash players (Flowplayer, Flash version 10 installed). Black screen only and very speed progress.
