What are the plans regarding libdvdread? The version that was released here is based on libdvdread 0.9.4 (IIRC), but upstream has reached 0.9.7 in the meantime. Is there intention to sync both versions? Diego

Not in the meantime. IIUC, Nico decided to fork libdvdnav, which came with its own copy of libdvdread-0.9.4. Plain libdvdread was at 0.9.7 at that time already.
Is there intention to sync both versions?
AFAIR Nico wrote something like that. Regards, R. -- Fedora http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Rathann Livna http://rpm.livna.org | MPlayer http://mplayerhq.hu "Faith manages." -- Delenn to Lennier in Babylon 5:"Confessions and Lamentations"

The easiest way is likely to look at the sync patches in the MPlayer repository. Diego

there's a lot of nonsense in the 0.9.4->0.9.7 transition. I began to backport some of the code, but much of it is still to review

Well, let us take things step by step. What about the 0.9.4 -> 0.9.5 transition? Diego

IIRC when I stopped reviewing the patchset I was about to finish the 0.9.4->0.9.5 transition. Basically what is unneeded is all the DIRECTIO stuff

Well, maybe we can start by merging the cosmetics from the 0.9.4 -> 0.9.5 transition then? Diego

I will be doing this in steps. I just committed the first part: Converting all tabs to spaces. Diego
