Hi. As my first action as the appointed release manager I'd like to release 4.1.2 this Saturday. Wow, this sounded so formal. ;) Anyway, I don't think there are any critical bugs that need fixing before the release and I think I didn't miss putting any important changes in the ChangeLog (if I did, yell). So, we're good to go. I'm going to prepare the tarball, test it on a couple of systems and ask someone who has access to put it on mplayerhq.hu. Or maybe I can even find someone to whip up a simple webpage and put it at http://dvdnav.mplayerhq.hu/ (any volunteers?). Tarball is up, but I want to put an announce message in mplayerhq news page, too. What do you think about this? === libdvdnav-4.1.2 released Hello everyone. On the first anniversary of libdvdnav under the new dev team, I'm happy to announce a new release, but first, some history. As some of you probably know, libdvdnav hasn't been actively developed upstream for quite some time. About a year ago, a couple of developers led by Nico Sabbi took over the task of maintaining libdvdnav. The first release happened quietly on Sunday, October 28th 2007 and now it is time for another. There have been many improvements to the build system and some bugfixes since then, but no major changes. libdvdnav-4.1.2 can be downloaded from the following location: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/dvdnav/libdvdnav-4.1.2.tar.gz SHA1 hash to verify the download is available here: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/dvdnav/libdvdnav-4.1.2.tar.gz.sha1 === Regards, R. -- Fedora contributor http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DominikMierzejewski Livna contributor http://rpm.livna.org MPlayer developer http://mplayerhq.hu "Faith manages." -- Delenn to Lennier in Babylon 5:"Confessions and Lamentations"

=== libdvdnav-4.1.2 released
Hello everyone.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I'll remove that. Seems like Nico doesn't want to be credited at all.
The first release happened quietly on Sunday, October 28th 2007 and now it is time for another.
There have been many improvements to the build system and some bugfixes since then, but no major changes.
libdvdnav-4.1.2 can be downloaded from the following location:

If there are no objections, I'll put this on mplayerhq news page tonight. I agree completely

There have been many improvements to the build system and some bugfixes since then, but no major changes.
I don't remember if in 4.1.1 there were parts of those memleak fixes and such that I committed several months ago, otherwise they are noteworthy for 4.1.2

They are in 4.1.2: r982 and r987. I've updated the announcement accordingly: === libdvdnav-4.1.2 released Hello everyone.
