<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I am looking into using rtmpdump to fetch stream metadata for monitoring purposes.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">We are planning on using it on Solaris 10</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Little bit of fiddling with Makefile allowed me to compile it :</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">The CFLAGS needs -std=c99 as compiler stops when including sdtbool.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">The LDFLAGS needs -lnsl -lsocket to link the network libs</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Now, as haven't touched C code in ages. I'm a bit struggling to modify rtmpdump enough to get it list the metadata and then stop the stream ( as we have no need for anything more ).</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">So would it be possible if you could help me and point me how to modify the code or if you are feeling generous add another command switch ( like --metadataonly ) and have it print only that. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">And I don't even dare to think that you could implement Nagios Check Plug-in exit codes … which would be amazing!</FONT>
