[rtmpdump] RTMPDump - Segmentation Fault

I did
git clone git://git.ffmpeg.org/rtmpdump
cd rtmpdump
make && make DESTDIR=/somewareelse/ install should that be ok?

It still segfaulted!

I used DESTDIR=/somewareelse/ because I have the ubuntu deb version in
the usual location.
