This problem now seems to have cleared its self. I cleared the rtmpvopts in
the get_iplayer preferences and re-enter it and the problem seems to have
gone away.
Kind Regards

Subject: rtmpdump NetConnection error
I have been using rtmpdump with get_iplayer for over a year now, but
something has changed which I am unable to identify that is causing this
error. I have tried both 2.2d and 2.2e and 2.3, but cannot resolve it.

I am not have any problems download from a windows XP laptop, but it is
failing on my Ubuntu box, I am running 9.04 jaunty jackalope.
I am able to download radio programmes successfully but constantly get this
failure when I try TV downloads.
I have a full debug which I can send on request
Kind Regards
