I'm running Libranet 2.0-based Debian (some sarge, but by this point I think it's largely sid). wanderer@pegasus:~$ uname -a Linux pegasus 2.4.22 #1 Fri Nov 14 23:11:23 EST 2003 i686 GNU/Linux wanderer@pegasus:~$ ls -l /lib/libc[.-]* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1244004 2004-01-20 12:29 /lib/libc-2.3.2.so lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 14 2003-10-19 22:43 /lib/libc.so.5 -> libc.so.5.4.46 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 565940 2003-09-22 11:45 /lib/libc.so.5.4.46 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 2004-02-27 01:24 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.3.2.so wanderer@pegasus:~/text/src/cvs/mplayer/main$ gcc -v Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i486-linux/3.3.4/specs Configured with: ../src/configure -v --enable-languages=c,c++,java,f77,pascal,objc,ada,treelang --prefix=/usr --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --with-gxx-include-dir=/usr/include/c++/3.3 --enable-shared --with-system-zlib --enable-nls --without-included-gettext --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-clocale=gnu --enable-debug --enable-java-gc=boehm --enable-java-awt=xlib --enable-objc-gc i486-linux Thread model: posix gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-11 wanderer@pegasus:~$ ld -v GNU ld version 2.15 wanderer@pegasus:~/text/src/cvs/mplayer/main$ as --version GNU assembler 2.15 Copyright 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc. I'm using the nVidia drivers, version 1.0-4363. My audio is integrated into my motherboard, using (according to the motherboard manual) the C-Media CMI8738-MX chipset.
