Hi!
How can I make sure mplayer is launched with an OSD window, even if there's no video to a stream?
Something like $ mplayer -force-osd
I think this is very essential if you e.g. associates mplayer to nautilus.
Without a window, it's impossible to fast-forward, rewind, pause, check time lapse, change volume, browse playlist etc. All you kan do is find the linux process and kill it.
The conditions are, I'm not intending to use gmplayer and I do not want mplayer to open in a treminal window. How should I do?
