hi,
   iam not able to play VCD files.i have a cd in which i have a 
music01.dat file.When i run mplayer
          mplayer -vo sdl music01.dat
It says that "File Format Not Supported" and exits.

How can i play these files in mplayer.
I have the latest version of mplayer and iam using RedHat 7.2 with 
default kernel that comes with this distribution.

any help will be highly appreciated.
