<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have a problem with a specific .asx file . The
file at <A href="http://ww.kiss.gr/kiss.asx">http://ww.kiss.gr/kiss.asx</A> is a
wma version 8 stereo file . I have problem opening it with mplayer . When
I open for example mms://live.rockfm.gr/rockfm which is a wma version 9
audio file I have no problem . I have tried to solve the problem with xine
. However exactly the same problem reappears with ffmpeg . It cannot playback
the audio stream from <A
href="http://ww.kiss.gr/kiss.asx">http://ww.kiss.gr/kiss.asx</A> because it
cannot decompress it . However mms://live.rockfm.gr/rockfm is ok
. With WMP 8 i have no problem . What do you propose . I send you the
output from mplayer . I am not an expert however I suspect that it has something
to do with codecs . Should I update it? Should I use the original win32 codecs?
