<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>It is said, that mplayer supports realvideo files
of all formats and I could not find any notes about problems with those files.
So I am asking if I really am the only one out there that is not able to use
mplayer for many rms...</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I'm using mandrake (8.2 and 9.0 with GATOS-Ati and
nvidia gforce on two different systems) mplayer 90r1, r2, r3 and tried it out
with rp9-codecs, a full rp8 and a full realOne installation with its
codecs. The video output is good, forceidx works too for many smaller rms. But
on most rm-files I tried mplayer does a bad job synchronizing video and audio
and there was no way (for me) to fix that. I tried all possible ao and vo
options, autosync, delaying and so on but nothing worked so far.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Am I doing something wrong or is this a known
problem with realmediafiles? As I already said I could not find any hint
pointing to this problem on the net. Just a few friends from the Unix-Ag of our
university who confirmed many problems with realvideos, considering it
unusable with mplayer for most files. The files work well with the original
realplayers btw. (but I really don't like them, mplayer is way
better)</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>If the problem is unknown I could send some clips
with problems.</FONT></DIV>
