I hope it's not misplaced here to say "Thanks" to the MPlayer authors and everybody else who helps to make this software possible.

I have just compiled MPlayer on a total standard SuSE 7.3 system and it works straight away! Excellent documentation...

Watching video files and DVD's, grabbing from the TV card and encoding directly from a DVD works just great!

Thanks for that. MPlayer is one big reason less to install Windoze.
