I've downloaded the lates version ox XINE. The prevoius was very slow and
buggy. This one is nice, at least for MPEG files, because AVI player is
totally broken. It supports hardframedroping for MPEG and has OSS output
and sound doesn't pauses on my small buffer aureal driver. ARPI, maybe
you could check XINE code and see how these functions are implemented in
XINE and take some suggestions.
