Could you elaborate on what you are doing a bit?
Which of my suggestions did you try?
Also on current SVN the build should be working again.
I committed sth to configure to switch the FFmpeg branch to release/7.1
Which SVN revision are you trying to build?
What is your configure command line?
Assuming you didn't change anything in the ffmpeg copy in the tree:
Maybe remove the ffmpeg directory inside the mplayer tree if it exists and try again
