Did you try the above suggestion of increasing "'analyzeduration' and
'probesize'"?

MPlayer knows options like "-psprobe" and "-tsprobe", and can provide a
"probesize" suboption to FFmpeg demuxers via "-lavfdopts". That might
help for playing the file.
