[MPlayer-users] mplayer doesn't update the size of a growing file

Not mixed! That would be terrible design by the people who invented
Unix. When MPlayer's input is connected to a file, it is no longer
connected to the tty, so the keys on the tty get queued until somebody
else reads them.
