[MPlayer-users] Problem with playing audio/video tracks

I use SMPlayer v. 14.9.0 (svn r0UNKNOWN) running on Linux (FC21) to play 
audio and video.
The configured preferred player is mplayer-1.1-33.20150211svn.fc21.x86_64

When I play a track and while it is playing, I enable the Extra Stereo 
Filter.
Audio does not change (i.e, the enhanced stereo separation is not audible).
I stop the track and I re-play it from start.
I get an error banner The details of the error log says:

I think this is a bug - but not sure if it is in mplayer or in smplayer.
