I think I tried all four cursor keys . .

Yes, if I don't touch cursor / pg keys the video play fine - audio and 
video.

Yes!  So that will solve the immediate problem - thanks!

I can try and cut down my test AVI to something small and put it 
somewhere so people can access it for testing if that is worthwhile?
