I added the line
extrastereo=2.5
in the file ~/.mplayer/config
and started smplayer.
When I played a track and checked to see if the audio filter ExtraStereo
was check-marked.
It was not.
So, I thought that the mplayer is part of smplayer, and that it would read
the config file and make the requesting setting.
Is smplayer a totally different beast?
