I hope you understand how limited DLNA is and that there is no way to
properly transfer all DVD contents over it (check

if you need more details about it).
That said, if "main video track + audio tracks + subtitle tracks +
chapters" enough for you, rip dvds to .mkv with ffmpeg (if it was built
with dvd read support) or with mkvmerge/mmg. mencoder's
"can-throw-anything-into-avi-with-fake-fourcc" way isn't compatible with
anything but mplayer, really, but matroska format works great here.
