Just a thought, but does MA and TrueHD being compressed lossless, so I
guess variable bitrate, affect things?
As for getting it over HDMI, in theory of course, but in practice for me
at least it would be a non starter as currently the AMD open driver only
goes up to 2ch 48k 16bit so not enough bandwidth.
