Or use man:
:~$ man mplayer |grep -A 1 '<endchapter ID>'
       -chapter <chapter ID>[-<endchapter ID>] (dvd:// and dvdnav:// only)
              Specify which chapter to start playing at.  Optionally
specify which chapter to end playing at (default: 1).
