Making "make distclean" isn't obvious at all but it is recommended for
every compilation of mplayer, whatever you change language or not.
It's mandatory for making good compilation.
If your compilation fail, first thing that devs ask is "did you made
'make distclean'?".
So either type it every time or make update/compilation script for
mplayer with "make distclean" hard-coded, no matter what.
