1) Don't believe arbitrary things you read on the internet
2) It doesn't say what you say it says. Specifically, it never once
mentions alsa.

I've just re-read your earlier report. Can you repeat the issue with a
local copy of the file, or does it only fail to resume when you are
streaming over http?

Can you repeat the issue with some additional '-v' flags? Post the
full uncut log.
