FWIIW, tested mplayer2 build by pigoz from http://code.google.com/p/mplayerosx-builds/ -- the same problem, Apple Remote does not work. mplayer2 seems to be using input/ar.c that is essentially same as in mplayer tree. Would appreciate any suggestions how to get the problem sorted out, =R.
