[MPlayer-users] Compiling on OS X 10.6.8 broken

I have been unable to successfully compile for OSX since revision 34135

the error that gets spammed for various line numbers is:
{standard input}:1094:32-bit absolute addressing is not supported for x86-64
{standard input}:1094:cannot do signed 4 byte relocation

I traced the problem to the configure script not adding "-DPIC" to the
cflags. Attached is a patch that reverts the configure scripts
behavior to what it was in r34134. I used `svn diff` to make the patch
file
