Note: for personal or in-company use you can of course combine them whatever way you want.
The GPL, as the license involved here, only has conditions on redistribution, so if you do not do anything counting as distribution you can do whatever you want.
We could consider adding an option for that for anyone compiling themselves and not for distribution.
