[MPlayer-users] mplayer prevents (wakes up?) DPMS timeouts; how to prevent?

Does it apply for Xserver blanking/DPMS timeouts? afaik the 
"stop-xscreensaver" only affects xscreensaver process, not Xserver's 
blanking (including DPMS).
