TV recordings are interlaced (1080i in the case of BBC HD) vdpau
deinterlacing creates a much smoother/nicer output.

afm to ensure ffmpeg codecs took priority.
a52drc for dolby digital compression (decreases the volume of loud sections)
cache was needed to play MakeMKV bluray streams smoothly
autosync to try and improve issues with audio sync, I may remove this
