[MPlayer-users] Video stream is mandatory! recording from dvb device

I'm trying to use mencoder to record from either my Hauppage HVR-950q
or HVR-1600 both using clearqam cable. The cable signal and devices
are working as dvb-apps' "gnutv" can successfully record from them.
When I try to record using mencoder I get:
$ mencoder -v dvb://120 -o test.mpg -oac copy -ovc copy -dvbin ca
rd=1:file=~/.mplayer/channels.conf.atsc
