[MPlayer-users] MOV Dimensions not set

Hello,

 

Using an older version of mencoder (dont' really know the version, I suppose
2007/2008) I had no problem encoding the following file:
<http://www.deretaar.be/20091117-141937c01.m4v>
http://www.deretaar.be/20091117-141937c01.m4v. With the latest version
(using the FreeBSD ports system) I get an error '[mov @ 0xb95660]dimensions
not set'.

 

In the past (and still today) we used mencoder to backup hdv5 rushes into a
smaller h264 files (limited storage capacity), and we used mencoder to
restore those backups into usable (Final Cut) rushes.

 

I am an amateur on these kind of things so any suggestions are welcome.
Google didn't give me sufficient insight.
