[MPlayer-users] stereo images conversion changes aspect ratio

I am converting a stereo images that
top/bottom to left/right
 
I am using this command
mencoder mf://*.jpg -mf w=800:h=800:fps=0.1:type=jpg -ffourcc FLV1 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=flv -vf down3dright -o output.flv
 
 here is the source image

 here is the result image (converted from flv file)

 As you can see the circle have changed into ovals, is there
 any way to stop this from happening?
