[MPlayer-users] checking mjpeg stream's fps -- can it be done using mplayer ?

Can one check the mjpeg streams fps value, while displaying same in mplayer ?
While I understand that mjpeg stream is a server-push technology, but
wondering if there is any way at-all to control framerate to a certain
value ?
