I compiled Squeeze's ffmpeg with that fix and mplayer indeed shows the 
right framerate with it. I also tried a straight "mencoder copy" again. 
That skipped loads of frames and the output video looked like crap, but 
it seems to play at the right speed. Considering this was a quick and 
dirty hack for testing, I call it progress. :) Thanks for the patch.
