now what i found is the VDPAU driver is prescaling the movie, i need to find a way to stop that


Movie-Aspect is 1.78:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [vdpau] 720x576 => 1024x576 MPEG2 VDPAU acceleration  [fs]
