[MPlayer-users] Unpredictable high CPU load while streaming invalid URLs

Hi Reimar,

Yep, that worked. "-loop 0" option with an invalid/unreachable url was
pushing the mplayer to grab more processing time and memory.

I used "-loop 0" option as a workaround for the automatic reconnection
for an unreachable url. I need to have the automatic reconnection
feature. This is done by periodically starting the mplayer from the
frontend when it's dead. but the mplayer does not automatically die
when an invalid url is played. Am I missing any command line option?
