Nice idea!  Unfortunately, it doesn't work: A-V is not in sync again
(but this time the audio is ahead a bit at the end).  BTW, since YUV
files can't be sought, I actually played the whole output for
inspection with

  mplayer video.yuv -audiofile audio.wav

Sigh sigh.
