you're using?

I'm sorry I probably will not be able to help you, but I'm sure noone else
can, with only the information you provided.

mplayer's complete, uncut console output (with -v) is definitely needed.
And a bit of your source file could be helpful. If it is a DVB stream, it
should be OK to just provide some MBytes of it, not the whole file.
