No, there's no svn of live555. They just post it as latest-live55.tar.gz or
something like that.
The latest version is today's: June 15, 2010.

Many times the problems you experience are fixed in the latest source files.
And sometimes the
latest svn from mplayer assumes that you are using the latest versions of
outside sources: e.g. live-555,
x264, etc.
