[MPlayer-users] -vf expand problem

Hi All

I'm using mencoder via PMS (ps3 media
server<http://ps3mediaserver.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=9087>)
streaming video DLNA

My TV is 16:9, so "non-16:9-movies" gets stretched.
To avoid this i added the parameter :: -vf expand=::::1:16/9

The problem is that, when i do that, suddently the framedelivery turns
"influent" / jerky/skippy..
Like some of the frames freezes/skips for a 2/3 frames...  reminding me of a
really bad pulldown.

It may be subtitle related , because if i disable the subtitles then it
works fine.

But i need subtitles =/

Anyone knows whats wrong?
