[MPlayer-users] Quicktime. Wrong search path for codecs on Linux

I'm trying to run a quicktime video with mplayer on Linux. The right codec
is detected, but when trying to load it, mplayer looks for a wrong path.
This is the output:

 DecompressSequenceFrameS result=0x-8961
Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load: c:\windows\system\QuickTime.qts,
/usr/lib/codecs/c:\windows\system\QuickTime.qts
Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load: c:\windows\system\QuickTime.qts,

/usr/lib/codecs/c:\windows\system\QuickTime.qts
Win32 LoadLibrary failed to load: c:\windows\system\QuickTime.qts,
/usr/lib/codecs/c:\windows\system\QuickTime.qts

I couldn't find anything of the sort on Internet. does anyone have a clue?

Thanks
