[MPlayer-users] How can i install skins for gmapleyr?

it a strange thing what is going on here if i install mplayer-gui now when i
have compiled svn version and i try to run it nothing happen because he
probably detect the svn version
and the repositories gmapleyr is most likely not compatible with that when i
try to open gmplayer from terminal i get this message:

MPlayer SVN-r31044-4.4.3 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team
[skin] file ( /usr/local/share/mplayer/skins/default/skin ) not found.
Skin not found (default).

now i have tried in my own way to install skins from mplayer site(sudo cp
sudo mv mkdir and etc)mainly Blue v1.7 or standard 1.9 you might want to
check the version numbers considering the fact that 1.9 is the old default
skin and 1.7 is the new default MPlayer skin any way when i tried all i
manage to get one skin file unreadable message and your readme file don't
provide a lot of information how do that so if there is a specific method
how to do that i would love to know about it and thanks in advance.
